Is this a website?

Yes.

Are these caricatures?

No, I actually suffer from a rare visual disorder in which all I see are big noses, little chins, big ears, square heads, and little bodies.

Were you ignored as a child?

Well, let's not get into that...

How long does it take?

Typically one to two weeks, a pencil rough is delivered, for gift and group orders, in 2-7 days and after approval another 2-7 days, depending on the demand.  Look at the order page.  I have a timeline which I update every week.  This shows my current turnaround time.  If you have an urgent deadline, please email and I can let you know if I can accomodate you.

What size are they?

The avatar or face only caricatures are provided through electronic mail in 8x10 at 150dpi, suitable for framing or Facebook avatars and other sites.

Gift caricatures and group caricatures with a full face/figure/background are provided through electronic mail in 11x14 at 150 dpi.

How many photos do you need?

The more the better.  Good clear head shot photographs from different angles under good lighting conditions are best.

Do you do group caricatures.

I certainly do.  Please refer to the order page for pricing and ordering instructions.

How do I pay.

We are currently taking Paypal and Google Checkout, which is the most secure methods of on-line payment.

How will you deliver the caricatures?

They are delivered via electronic mail as an attachment.  File format is *.jpg. If you wish an alternate format please indicate in your email with your ordering instructions.  We can deliver in *.tiff, *.bmp, *.jpg,  etc.

What software and/or tools do you use to create the caricatures.

Every artist has their preference.  For me I use the Adobe Photoshop software package.  I also use a Wacom Cintiq 21UX tablet with a Windows PC.

What kind of description should I provide?

For the full face/figure/background caricatures these are completely customized per your request.  The more information, the better.  Tell me what you really want to see in a concise manner.  Use verbs, i.e, swinging a golf club, diving off a diving board, flying an airplane, lecturing from a podium, etc.)  If it's a caricature of someone on the job, describe their jobs in terms of action verbs, i.e., a police officer writing a speeding ticket, a doctor delivering a baby, an engineer cranking numbers on a calculator, a lawyer grilling a witness in the courtroom, a daycare provider managing toddlers, a banker counting his money, a musician playing on stage, an artist at his easel, etc.)
